Ke Hang riji 客杭日記

Ke Hang riji 客杭日記 "Diary of a guest in Hangzhou" is a collection of stories compiled during the Yuan period 元 (1279-1368) by Guo Bi 郭畀 (1280-1355), courtesy name Tianxi 天錫, style Yunshan 雲山, from Jingku 京口 (today's Zhenjiang 鎮江, Jiangsu). The author, about whose life little is known, was quite prolific; besides this book, other works include Xueshan riji 雪山日記 and Kuaixuezhai ji 快雪齋集.

The Kehang riji is a volume edited by Li E 厲鶚(1692-1752) in 1725 from the diary of Guo Bi. It documents the period from the 1st day of the 9th month 1308 to the 9th day of the 2nd month the following year. The diary contains many accounts of officials being petitioned for favours, as well as notes on historical sites and cultural relics, which can serve as valuable references.
