(Zengxiu) Guanxian zhi 增修灌縣志

The Four Categories of Literature
(Zengxiu) Guanxian zhi (增修)灌縣志 is the revised local gazetteer of the district (xian 縣) of Guanxian 灌縣 (modern Dujiangyan 都江堰, Sichuan) written by the Qing period 清 (1644-1911) scholars Zhuang Siheng 莊思恆, who was district magistrate (xianling 縣令) in Guanxian, and Zheng Tishan 鄭珶山. There was an older local gazetteer of Guanxian compiled and revised during the Qianlong reign 乾隆 (1736-1795). Zhuang Siheng took over the task to revise the older version and compiled an actual version with a length of 14 juan "scrolls", with one introductive scroll. It was printed in 1886 and then again in 1901 in a slightly enlarged version. In 1914 an actual version of a local gazetter of Guanxian was compiled by Yang Duanning 楊端宇. (This book has been selected arbitrarily in order to present an example of a local gazetteer on the district level.)
